• Summary

  Ethnic minority children often grow up speaking in their native tongues, and learn Putonghua (China’s national language) only later in elementary school. By this time they usually have accents, which may create barriers in future communication with the rest of society. Our goal is to create a multimedia platform to teach these children proper Putonghua and, more importantly, stimulate a genuine interest in learning Putonghua.
