• Summary

  The Baima Snow Mountain School is a community school run by a lama and funded by his tithes. At present, the most pressing need for the children are textbooks and composition booklets. We will first create a formal system to facilitate donation of textbooks and composition booklets from the urban cities in Yunnan to the Baima school. To cultivate a relationship between donors and the students, we will also publish online the composition essays written by these students. Moreover, we will work with the school management to develop an extensive curriculum (esp. focusing on creative writing), as well as a long-term strategy for fundraising and partnerships with NGOs.
