Challenge
“Left-Behind Children” is a term used to describe children living in rural areas whose parents have left them to work in distant cities. Lack of parental guidance coupled with a poor rural education system have rendered these children literally “left behind,” on both the familial and education fronts.

Solution
"Hand in Hand" aims to provide left-behind children with the proper educational and emotional care. Through programs such as parent groups, training for temporary guardians, online home programs, and various educational classes, we hope to strengthen relationships between these children and their temporary families, as well as with their real parents. Indeed, children and their parents will be taught to communicate through an online system on a daily basis.
