Challenge
The Yellow River is the sixth longest river in the world, and the second largest in China. It holds the Yellow River Delta, the most complete and youngest of wetlands in China. Located at the estuary of the Yellow River to the Bohai Sea, the delta is host to a rich variety of species, jaw -dropping scenery and landscape, and careful studies of the hydrology and geomorphology that take place there. However, all these treasures are threatened and slowly decaying due to erosion, desertification, pollution, and a series of ecological problems. The damage has already been tremendous, but few people have come to realize the importance of putting an end to this.

Solution
Under guidance from locals and experts, our team will carry out an in-depth investigation of the current crisis and document via text and image what is happening to the delta. Our mission is to uncover true information regarding animal habitat and vegetation conditions, pollution records, etc. Under the support of Shandong's local government and media, the results of our research will be publicly announced, distributed and exhibited, such as a traveling photo exhibition covering threats faced by the Delta. To couple awareness with action, we will also launch a local recycling management program to reduce pollutants, as well as awareness campaigns to educate tourists to the Delta.
