Challenge
For a fast developing country like China, garbage disposal and recycling have become increasingly important issues. Recycling is a one of the simplest and most effective ways to conserve the environment, and our communities, schools, and company offices are the most prominent places for recyclable disposals such as electronic waste, plastic bottles, and paper.
-
Solution
Exchanging garbage for daily goods – sounds too good to be true? GSA's "Green Account" is a point-system that rewards points for recyclable items brought to GSA. Accumulated points can then be exchanged for daily necessities such as bags, stationery, plants, etc.
In addition, we plan to promote our project via 3 channels:
"Green Hero Movement – Building a Greener Community”: Recruits "Green Heroes" in local communities to promote the recycling cause and teach the community proper ways of recycling.
"Green Future Movement - Building Greener Schools”: Promotes recycling of drink bottles on campus, most of which have massive beverage consumption waste. As incentive, bottles can be exchanged for school materials.
"Green Seeds Movement – Building Greener Offices”: Addresses massive office paper usage by promoting the "Green Account" recycling incentive system with enterprises, the government, and individuals. -
