Project Name Entrepreneurship for the Disabled

• Challenge

  As we go through life everyday, we must not forget that living beside us are a group of handicapped yet staunchly resilient people. While numerous disability groups have emerged as China becomes more aware of the gap between the disabled and the rest of society, the issue of finding employment for them still looms large due to employer bias, as well as mental and physical limitations of the handicapped.

• Solution

  Through various job trainings such as crafts-making and food processing, we hope to help the disabled regain confidence in themselves and find renewed purpose in their lives. After initial training and assessment, our team will then take the capable and willing, and provide them with further skill-training and employment opportunities, as well as psychological guidance.
