  • Challenge

    The Sichuan earthquake earlier this year has left tens of thousands of people homeless and in need of all sorts of daily necessities, including clothing. Several provinces away in Hunan, there are factories and homes which have accumulated tons of unused cloth material that they no longer need.

  • Solution

    Our team will solicit local residents, college students and factories to for old, unwanted fabric and turn them into Quilts of Love for victims of the Sichuan earthquake.
    We will also work with local newspapers, television stations, and online media to promote our efforts in cloth collection and quilt weavings. These Quilts of Love will then be sent directly the victims in Sichuan to provide them with warmth and care.
